Beit Shemesh, don't vote for Shalom because he can't get it done!
What a pathetic argument!

You Anglos, poor deluded souls that you are, have no idea about how things work in Beit Shemesh. If you had any inkling whatsoever of who or what is out there, you would cringe and hide from it. Only a tough, veteran Israeli can handle it and "work the system".

So goes the argument of fear. Don't listen to it.

  1. Because it's not really true. Shalom can do it just fine. Just because he's an honest and truly kind person does not mean that he can't handle a ruck.
  2. Because it's basically saying: things are as they are, nothing can be changed and you better learn to live with it. I protest with all my being against such a hopeless message and I say: if it's wrong, don't just accept it, change it. If the system has become so full of corrupt and negative people, then get rid of them and recreate the system.

It may not happen quickly, but it will happen if we are passionate about it and give all our support to a person who will take on the system in order to make it work.

Only one thing is certain: if you give up on the dream of something better, if you don't do what you can to make it happen, then it ain't gonna happen by itself.

This isn't just about voting for a mayor. This is about every single thing we do in our lives. We choose whether to give in to the naysayers and fearmongers or whether to pursue true good with passion and energy.
