Talking cars, annoying noise, advertising from Gehinom!

talking car

Do you know what I'm talking about?

You know, just when the kids start to fall asleep, you suddenly hear the most spine-tingling, blood-curdling din approaching from outside. As it comes closer you realise it's actually something approximating a human voice (if you're really unlucky, the voice may be heard against a backdrop of screeching music).

Anyway, through the cries of your now terrified and wide awake children, you make out the voice that is nearly begging you to come and visit the "Bouncy Castle Bonanza" (actually it turns out to be just one bouncy castle that bears a closer resemblance to a not very bouncy Bamba packet than anything else).

Now, here's the thing: if you actually go to the said bonanza because of the talking car, one thing is certain. There will be more talking cars!

But imagine what would happen if you got a few of your neighbours together and decided that next time one of these monsters ventures close to your building, you'll all run out into the street and pelt the unfortunate thing with all manner of (soft) refuse and debris.

Go on, imagine it. Firstly it would probably be fun. Secondly, after this happens to a couple of cars, I doubt they'd take the risk again.

I do honestly feel bad for the poor drivers - my guess is that the advertising agencies probably hire people who are aurally challenged (deaf for those of you who don't speak PC-ese) and just tell them that they must drive around for a few hours. Which they then do in blissful ignorance of the human suffering they leave in their wake.

But still, let's not be distracted from our mission. Now, if each street set up a SWAT team for the said purpose, we could finally be rid of the talking cars. Yey!

Feel free to use the comments section below to start to get organised. I'd be delighted to help!
